INFLA PROTEC

Inflam Protect is a synergetic formula comprised of botanicals, quercetin (a type of flavonoid antioxidant or a plant pigment), bromelain (an anti-inflammatory enzyme), boswellia serrata, turmeric root and devil’s claw. Together this formula does wonder.  Here are a few ways I would implement this product in a supplement protocol:

• Immediately following an injury or the on-coming of an injury such as joint overused, inflamed tendons
• After an intense few days of training or long-distance event such as a marathon to aid in recovery
• People with symptoms associated to arthritis, arthrosis, and feel stiff upon awakening

Recommended use or purpose: Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve joint inflammation. Helps to relieve joint pain and swelling associated with osteoarthritis of the knee. Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve joint pain associated with osteoarthritis. Used in Herbal Medicine to help relieve minor pain, swelling and inflammation (anti-inflammatory). Source antioxidants.

DURATION OF USES: Use for a minimum of 2-3 months to see beneficial effects. For a use beyond 12 weeks, consult ahealthcare practitioner.

RECOMMENDED DOSE: Adults : 2 capsules 3 times per day. Take with food.

KNOWN ADVERSE REACTIONS: Hypersensitivity (e.g. allergy) has been known to occur; in which case, discontinue use. Some people may experience mild gastrointestinal disturbances such as diarrhoea, abdominal pain, heartburn, nausea and vomiting ; in which case, discontinue use.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, do not use this product. If you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid (ASA) or other salicylates, do not use this product.

CAUTIONS AND WARNINGS: If you have gastrointestinal lesion/ulcer or excess stomach acid, are taking an anticoagulant or antiplatelet or blood thinner medication, antiinflammatory or antibiotic, or are having surgery, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use. If you have gallstones or a bile duct obstruction, consult a healthcare practitioner prior to use. If symptoms persist or worsen, consult a health care practitioner.
